| Initial symptoms
on rice leaf. Lesion begins as small, interveinal, water-soaked (dark
green), streaks which later become translucent. Numerous tiny yellow
beads of exudate are commonly found on the lesions. |
Rice leaf severely
infected with X. oryzae pv. oryzicola. The translucent streaks enlarge
and coalesce turning into light brown then grayish-white until the whole
leaf dries up. |
